Goodbye Cordoba, hello Buenos Aires

I am writing this at 5:45 am, must hurry, we need to have all the luggage in the hotel lobby by 6:00, quick breakfast, and then load the bus.  Heading to the airport, flying to Buenos Aires this morning!  We had a wonderful time in Cordoba, and celebrated with a great dinner last night.  Our host Suzuki teacher, Fernando, joined us for dinner, and of course we posed for pictures afterwards.  Sorry no pics/video on the blog last night, we had to pack the uniforms and everything else.  Need to run, very little time this morning.  But while we are sad to leave Cordoba, we are looking forward to our next adventure in Buenos Aires!

  • Good traveling BSS Touring Ensemble…..I am following your flight via Flight Tracker….I can see that you are on route to Buenos Aires. From the sound of your blogs you have had wonderful experience in South America. The time seems to be flying bye. Have a wonderful time in Buenos Aires and have a great concert on Saturday evening at the Auditorio San Ragael. I am anxiously awaiting to see all the pictures and video when you return.

  • Gabrielle (The BSS Advanced Ensemble mascot) sends her love and best wishes to the whole Friendship touring group and especially to her brother, Alexander, and hopes you all of a wonderful time on the next leg of your journey in Buenos Airies!

We showed Gabrielle on the globe last night where we live and where her brother and the entire Advanced Ensemble is in Argentina, and she was amazed at how far away it is! Even for an adult, it is hard to wrap one’s head around it! Wishing you all a safe journey. Have the times of your lives, and an amazing concert in Buenos Aires!

Please wish Mary Cay a Happy Birthday from all of us here at home. She is an amazing woman and an inspiration to us all! Thank you for everything you do for our children and for us, Mary Cay. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

  • 2 corrections: line 4 should read “have a wonderful time”
