Our Suzuki Summer Workshop brings together Suzuki and traditional students, parents and teachers from the Buffalo-Niagara Region to share the joys of an inspirational week of music making.
The Suzuki Program is made up of master classes, repertory classes and enrichment classes that broaden the students’ musical experience and knowledge. The Introduction to the Suzuki Method Classes allows parents and children to become acquainted with the Suzuki philosophy and methods while sharing in a wide variety of age appropriate musical activities.
SUMMER WORKSHOP PROGRAMS
INTRODUCTION TO SUZUKI METHOD
Ages 3 to 6
9:00 – 10:00
M-T-W-Th-F Classes for Children & Parents
(No instruments will be used for this class)
10:00 – 11:00
M-T-W-Th-F Enrichment Class for Children &
This two hour, five day program features a one hour parent/child “hands on” introduction/ readiness session which introduces the Suzuki method through a wide variety of musical experiences and a one hour Enrichment class for students as parents attend “parent only” classes and observe the program in action. (Each child must be accompanied by at least one parent.)

PROGRAMS FOR SUZUKI STUDENTS
Violin, Viola, Cello, Piano, Harp & Classical Guitar
M-T-W-Th-F 9:00 – 12:00:
This three hour program includes a Repertory/Master Class, an Enrichment Class and a Music Reading/Ensemble/Orchestra Class.
Piano students will have a group (3-4 students) lesson and two enrichment classes
Curriculum may be subject to change due to program needs.
CHAMBER MUSIC PROGRAM
Violin (late book 5), Advanced Viola, Cello & Piano
M-T-W-Th-F 1:00 – 6:00
This program is for violin, viola and cello students who are capable of playing quartets at early Mozart level and up. It is an excellent opportunity to participate in a week of making beautiful chamber music together. The program consists of:
¯ A two hour coached Chamber Ensemble
¯ An instrument specific Master Class
