Make Up Lesson Policies
Fall and Winter/Spring
- In the event of inclement weather, if BSS is open and a family chooses not to attend an in-person lesson, they may have an on-line lesson. No in-person make-up lessons will be rescheduled.
- If BSS Administration determines that the building must be closed, all lessons will be made up either on-line or in person.
- If the student cancels a lesson, the lesson will not be made up.
- If the student cannot attend their regularly scheduled lesson, they may ask their teacher if a lesson swap is possible. The teacher must be given as much notice as possible – a minimum of 24 hours in advance. If a swap or on-line lesson is not possible, the lesson will not be made up.
- If your teacher cancels a lesson, the teacher will make up the lesson.
Summer Lesson Make up Policy
- If it is absolutely necessary to re-schedule a lesson, you must contact your teacher directly no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time.
- Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time will not be re-scheduled or made up.
- A maximum of one (1) lesson may be rescheduled per Summer Session.
