Buffalo Suzuki Strings will be on break November 22-30. Happy Thanksgiving!

BSS Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of extremely inclement weather, a determination will be made by Buffalo Suzuki Strings’ Administration as to whether lessons/classes will be held or cancelled.  You will be notified by phone, email or text if private lessons are cancelled.  For the latest information about Rep Class cancellations, check our website at www.buffalosuzukistrings.org.

Lesson Make-Up Policy

Any lessons cancelled by BSS will be made up and if a family is traveling from a town that has a driving ban in effect, that lesson will be made up as well.  Otherwise, if Buffalo Suzuki Strings is open and a family chooses not to come for their lesson, the lesson will not be made up.  In the event that Repertory Classes are cancelled, they will not be made up.

For specific information, check our website to find out whether lessons/classes are being held at BSS.

Buffalo Suzuki Strings
is the oldest Suzuki Method music education program in Western New York. The cornerstones of our philosophy are ~ an early beginning, a nurturing environment, quality musical training, plus a strong partnership among parents, teachers and the community.

Buffalo Suzuki Strings accepts instrumental students from the age of 3 to 18. We are the only Suzuki Music Program in New York State to offer instruction for all of the following instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Piano, Classical Guitar and Harp.

Buffalo Suzuki Strings enjoys an international reputation for musical excellence under the direction of our Founder and Music Director, Mary Cay Neal, who is a pioneer in the field of Suzuki pedagogy.

Hundreds of WNY families have already come to embrace our educational philosophy and experience the added value of Suzuki-based music instruction. We cordially invite you to join our musical family.
