 The 2008 Buffalo Suzuki Strings Friendship Touring Ensemble launched its 11th International Concert Tour in mid-April 2008 to Spain. Since 1984 the BSS Friendship Touring Ensembles have traveled to Great Britain, the former Soviet Union and Hungary, Australia and Hawaii, Italy and Switzerland, the Southern and Mid-Atlantic United States, Chile and Peru, England and Ireland, Brazil, and Italy as the invited, featured performers. During their last trip overseas the Friendship Touring Ensemble was invited to play at the 14th Suzuki Method World Convention in Turin, and Spain.
