Welcome to the Home of the Advanced Ensemble. As you may have read in our site, the Advanced Ensemble is for members of the highest playing level in Buffalo Suzuki Strings. This area is for both students, teachers, and parents to be up to date on the latest progress, news, and events taking place.
Here is the most recent performance piece we have been working on. This is a professional recording that all of the Advanced Class Students are listening to in order to increase their ability .

Hello Advanced Ensemble, here is the assignment from the April 30 rehearsal. Last rehearsal of the session is this Friday, May 7:
Canzonetta
Quarter-note=68-72
15: emphasize E-flat right after beat 5
67: with tuner to fine-tune intonation
20: F-sharp, E-flat
29: grace notes on up-bow “and da”
B: eighth-note=80
C: quarter-note=40
91: rhythm to the end
Bach 2nd mvt.
Eighth-note=44-46
Stroke the string for pizz and vibrato!

Musette quarter-note=100
Find and accomplish all articulations and dynamics
No ornaments
